The department of political science provides courses covering a variety of interests in political science, but places particular emphasis on political philosophy. Following an introductory course in which is offered an overview of the discipline including sections on political culture, political ideology/theory, political institutions, comparative politics, international relations, students will be able to choose from a variety of courses in political theory including Ancient, Early Modern, Modern Continental, the English Liberal Tradition, and Contemporary Political Thought. The Campion political science faculty comprises Dr. Lee Ward and Dr. Ann Ward .
